Sometimes architectural design goes in a whole new and bizarre direction. Such is the case with Chinese [architectural design firm](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mad-architects-and-fendi) ‘Mad Architects.’ One of their newest concepts in architectural design is this rather unique plan titled Fake Hills.

Plans for the 492,369 square meter [residential complex](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/highdensity-residential-design) were originally proposed in 2008, and it looks like developers will actually go ahead with the [curvy construction](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunner-museum) project this year. Although Fake Hills seems a bit odd, the pictures are cool.
