The bleeding picture of large rhinos drips down the side of a cement wall, a testament to the devastation that she stands opposed to. Faith47, along with a laudable group of [animal rights activists](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/food-lion1), draws attention to the recent execution of rhinos in South Africa, China, Malaysia, India, South Korea and Vietnam. The widespread killings have resulted in [extinction](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/return-of-the-cheetah) with the 2011 annihilation of the Javan rhino in Vietnam, a travesty that was soon after accompanied by the elimination of the West African Black Rhino. The Taming of the Beasts lays blame on the Asian hunting culture which has made a sport and relative spectacle of the search for rhino horns. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 24% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Anti Animal Cruelty Murals:** Opportunity for artists to use murals as a powerful medium to raise awareness against animal cruelty. - **Animal Rights Activism:** Growing movement of individuals and groups advocating for the protection and welfare of animals. - **Global Rhino Conservation Efforts:** Increased focus on conservation initiatives to prevent the extinction of rhinos. ### Where This Applies - **Art and Design:** Artists and designers can collaborate with activists to create impactful visuals to inspire change. - **Nonprofit Organizations:** Opportunities for nonprofits focused on animal rights and conservation to collaborate on awareness campaigns and initiatives. - **Tourism and Wildlife Conservation:** Increased interest in eco-tourism and wildlife conservation efforts to preserve and protect vulnerable animal species. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Striking Urban Wildlife Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clare-allin.md) - [Outdoor Wildlife Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-great-elephant-migration.md) - [Art-Promoting Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beige-billboards.md) - [Charity Organization Rebrands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/humane-world-for-animals.md) - [Interactive Marine Ecosystem Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marine-ecosystem-sculptures.md) - [Online Abuse-Condemning Murals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marcus-rashford-mural.md) - [Animal Equity Beauty Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skin-proud.md) - [Anti-Gender Violence Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antigender-violence-campaign.md) - [Three-Part Photography Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rhinoceros-gallery1.md)
