# Faking Proof on Flickr The Fairy Skeleton By Cowbag | Published 2008-10-16 | Unique Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fairy-skeleton References: [bored-night](http://bored-night.com/index.php/Weird/What-The-HELL-Is-This.html) These images are truly incredible, but have me wondering what it is that I’m looking at. I vote fairy or [demon skeleton](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buffalo-skeleton-hard-disk), but regardless, it is pretty darn awesome. I don’t believe that it’s real, but how great would it be if it was? It looks realistic enough to fool the more gullible amongst us. Case in point, some people thought a REAL UFO had landed in Potter’s Fields. The images of the [fairy skeleton](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corazon-marikit-doll) were found on a random Flickr stream, which all adds to the [mystery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ghost-town1) that begged to have the questions answered of who, why, where? It looks like the wings were created from dead leaves, but I am not sure about the rest. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 62% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Bizarre](https://www.trendhunter.com/bizarre) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Digital Manipulation:** Opportunity for developing sophisticated image manipulation tools to create realistic but fabricated images. - **Fantasy Art:** Growing demand for visually stunning and imaginative artworks that challenge reality. - **Online Mystery Communities:** Emerging trend of online communities investigating and discussing mysterious or unexplained phenomena. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Digital Software Development:** Businesses can capitalize on the demand for image manipulation software that offers advanced editing capabilities and realistic effects. - **Art and Design:** Artists and designers can explore the growing market for fantasy-themed artworks that push the boundaries of imagination. - **Online Forums and Social Networking:** Opportunity to create online platforms and communities dedicated to investigating and sharing information about mysterious phenomena. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Otherworldly Wooden Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1.md) - [Futuristic Museum Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unnatural-history-museum-of-singapore.md) - [Folk Creature Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fibredog.md) - [Digital Fairy-Catching Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/got2glow-baby-fairy-finder.md) - [Artful Suspended Fashion Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/invisible-figures.md) - [Magical Mischief Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fairy-prank.md) - [Resin Gravity Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-great-tree.md) - [Satirical Destination Marketing Videos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/switzerland-is-fake.md) - [Kinetic Insect Sculpture Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dragonfly-balance-light.md)
