# Familial Flower Pots Facepots by Igor Mitin Put Expressions into Inanimate Planters By Amelia Roblin | Published 2011-06-17 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/facepots-by-igor-mitin References: [industrialdesignserved](http://www.industrialdesignserved.com/gallery/Facepots/1146305) If you're finding limited shelf space for plants and pictures, one of the best design solutions I've come across is the incorporation of Facepots by Igor Mitin into your interior decor. Instead of making a difficult choice between displaying [potted plants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/posha) or pictures of your loved ones, these [comical vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-vase) are the ideal compromise. They may completely alter your usual interaction with [plain old planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tilt-planter) or framed photographs, but these odd items offer a new appreciation for both when observed together. For one thing, the leaves and blossoms of your greenery instantly become perceived as wacky hairstyles emerging from the heads of your cylindrical kin. Furthermore, even the most serious closeup portraits of your friends and family members are bound to look silly when inserted into Facepots by Igor Mitin. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 62% | Activity: 52% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Multifunctional Decor:** Combining plants and pictures in one design solution offers a new appreciation for both. - **Comical Vases:** Vases with comical designs add a touch of humor to interior decor. - **Interactive Planters:** Planters that incorporate elements like faces create a unique and engaging interaction with greenery. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** Home decor industry can utilize multifunctional decor to offer unique and innovative products. - **Gifts and Accessories:** Gift and accessory industry can tap into the market for comical vases as unique and humorous gift options. - **Gardening and Plant Care:** Companies in gardening and plant care can explore interactive planters to add fun and engagement to gardening experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Virtual Pet Planter Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plant-pot-concept.md) - [Cherubic Ceramic Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avant-arte.md) - [Elegant Ivory Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ivory-vase.md) - [Self-Watering Plant Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vivo-pot.md) - [Cult Film-Inspired Pet Plants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spot-1.md) - [Vibrant Dynamic Wall Plant-Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floos.md) - [Uniquely Shaped Self-Watering Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/self-watering-plant-house.md) - [Vertical Workstation Wall Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-wall-planter.md) - [Minimalist Illusory Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vaso-gota-vase.md)
