The FaceID CVJB-G107 face recognition security system keeps a database of up to 500 unique faces, and will only allow access when the face-detecting algorithm finds a match. The FaceID CVJB-G107 is being marketed as a replacement for time-card systems and a [door security system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-lock-technology). FaceID is a little more than I had budgeted, at $447, so I won’t be ordering one from ChinaVasion today. In the meantime, until I can decide between fingerprint or face recognition locks, I’ll be sticking with my keys. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 49% | Activity: 39% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Face Recognition Security Systems:** The development of advanced face recognition technology presents opportunities to revolutionize door locks and enhance security systems. - **Keyless Entry Systems:** The rise of keyless entry systems, including fingerprint and face recognition locks, is reshaping the way we access and secure our homes and workplaces. - **Replacement for Time-card Systems:** Face recognition systems like the FaceID CVJB-G107 have the potential to replace traditional time-card systems, streamlining attendance tracking and improving workplace efficiency. ### Where This Applies - **Home Security:** The face recognition technology used in the FaceID CVJB-G107 has disruptive innovation potential in the home security industry, providing a more convenient and secure alternative to traditional locks. - **Access Control Systems:** The development of face recognition door locks presents disruptive innovation opportunities in the access control systems industry, enabling more efficient and reliable methods of granting entry to authorized individuals. - **Workplace Security:** Face recognition systems, such as the FaceID CVJB-G107, offer disruptive innovation potential for the workplace security industry, providing improved identity verification and access control measures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Facial Recognition Smart Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/switchbot-lock-ultra-vision.md) - [High-Tech Residential Security Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/residential-security-system.md) - [Facial Recognition Door Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xiaomi-smart-door-lock-x.md) - [Biometric Bank-Grade Door Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/securam-touch.md) - [Multilevel Authentication Smart Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tcl-dr2-max-retrofit-smart-lock.md) - [Accessible Palm-Scanning Door Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wyze-palm-lock.md) - [Palm Recognition Smart Deadbolts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wifi-palm-recognition-smart-deadbolt.md) - [Biometric Authentication Smart Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ultraloq-smart-home-locks.md) - [Minimalist Biometric Door Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aqara-u100-smart-lock.md)
