This follows up on Merelle's interest in the ethereal, specifically regarding dreams and alternative states of mind, "Following the unrolling of a dream, playing with the free association of shapes and ideas, he seems to say that everything is transforming..." Pentateuque stands small at 30 x 27 x 12 inches. The piece incorporates an assortment of [resin, paint and hair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-great-tree), enabling him to capture the true qualities of both man and animal. Its life like qualities were observed at Marina Bay Sands' 2013 Art Stage Singapore show, a prestigious exhibit that came of his original Pentateuch ink drawing that was released in 2010. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 39% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Customization](https://www.trendhunter.com/customization) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Balancing Sculptures:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Explore new materials and techniques to create larger and more intricate balancing sculptures. - **Ethereal Art:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Experiment with innovative mediums and concepts to create ethereal artworks that explore alternate states of mind. - **Transformative Art:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Use unconventional materials and methods to create art pieces that capture the transformative nature of objects and ideas. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art and Sculpture:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Embrace technology and digital platforms to bring art and sculpture to a wider audience, breaking down traditional barriers. - **Exhibition and Events:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Incorporate interactive and immersive elements into exhibitions and events to enhance the visitor experience and create lasting memories. - **Material and Manufacturing:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Develop new materials and manufacturing processes to enable the creation of unique and intricate artworks that push the boundaries of what is possible. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wooden Light-Hearted Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dream-sculpture.md) - [Luxury Fashion Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxury-fashion-sculpture.md) - [Primal-Themed Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-return.md) - [Interactive Kinetic Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interactive-kinetic-sculptures.md) - [Striking Sculptural Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculpture-candle.md) - [Dual Sculpture Seating Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/immaterial-0001.md) - [Otherworldly Wooden Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1.md) - [Collaborative Sculptural Art Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neojomon-biomorphic-fantme.md) - [Gem-Like Sculptural Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cylindrical-lenses.md)
