Fabian Oefner [set up his camera](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moon-walker-multi-cam) to go off right at the moment when the projectile that shoots out of the gun hits the item in full force, capturing the exact instant when all hell breaks loose. The can of [Coke](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coca-cola-y3000-zero-sugar) is especially impressive as the light reflects off of the shiny red aluminum that is being crumpled up on impact and frothy cola comes spraying out at all angles. The Fabian Oefner Shootout series uses a microphone that sends electronic impulses to trigger the camera, a complex setup that is necessary in order to get results with this much impact. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 46% | Activity: 44% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **High Impact Photography:** Using explosive pressure to capture dynamic moments in photography. - **Triggering Mechanisms:** Developing advanced electronic systems for precise camera timing. - **Capturing Chaos:** Exploring the beauty found in the destruction of objects through photography. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Photography:** Exploring new techniques to capture eye-catching images. - **Electronics:** Developing innovative triggering mechanisms for various applications. - **Art and Design:** Finding creative ways to showcase chaos and destruction as a form of expression. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Explosive Candy Launches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/warheads-atomic-fizz.md) - [Explosion-Damaged Sculpture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-into-darkness.md) - [Functional Gingerbread Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gingerbread-camera.md) - [Crystal-Adorned Crushed Cans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sam-keller.md) - [Photography Project Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/still-life-1.md) - [Blurry Abstract Photography Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/optical-allusion.md) - [Journalist-Focused Short Films](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-shooting.md) - [Artistic Photography Instant Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moir-21-instant-film-camera.md) - [Raw Sports Emotion Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/game-exhibition.md)
