# Extreme Photoshop Spoofs This College Humor Video Turns a Woman into the Unexpected with Photoshop By Laura McQuarrie | Published 2014-03-14 | Pop Culture Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/extreme-photoshop References: [designtaxi](http://designtaxi.com/news/364365/This-Video-Shows-A-Model-Getting-Un-Photoshopped-With-An-Unexpected-Ending/) & [youtube](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hnvoz91k8hc&list=UUPDXXXJj9nax0fr0Wfc048g) Digital body manipulation and the use of extreme Photoshop is fairly common in print, but this this funny College Humor video takes it to a whole other level. The video stars off with a gorgeous model and announces that it will be showing Photoshop in reverse. In a few moments, the woman goes from being thin to plus size, to looking like a burn victim, but the Photoshopping doesn't stop there. College Humor continues with the excessive digital manipulations by turning the woman's red bikini into three round very pepperoni-like circles... then her mottled skin starts to look more and more like a pizza. Since she was initally posed with both of her hands behind her head, it doesn't take much more work to complete the radical transformation from woman to slice of pizza. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 62% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Humor](https://www.trendhunter.com/humor) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Digital Body Manipulation:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop software or tools that promote body positivity and create realistic digital representations of people. - **Extreme Photoshop:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the development of automated image analysis algorithms to detect and prevent excessive digital manipulation in advertising and media. - **Reverse Photoshop:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create a reverse image editing tool that allows users to undo the effects of digital manipulation and restore a more authentic appearance. ### Who This Affects Most - **Advertising:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate augmented reality (AR) technology into advertising campaigns to enhance transparency and provide consumers with interactive, real-time product information. - **Fashion:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Utilize 3D scanning and modeling technologies to create virtual fashion experiences that showcase diverse body types and challenge traditional beauty standards. - **Media and Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop platforms and content that promote diverse and inclusive representation, challenging the prevalence of extreme digital manipulation and unrealistic beauty standards. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Distorted Burger Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ailloween.md) - [Pizza-Themed Spas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pizza-spa.md) - [Spoof Cosmetics Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/americas-next-top-primer.md) - [Satirical Destination Marketing Videos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/switzerland-is-fake.md) - [Viral Face Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crazyface.md) - [Imaginative Photo-Editing AI Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/youniverse.md) - [Drug-Themed April Fool's Gags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/innocean-berlin.md) - [Caricature Creation Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/photo-to-caricature-pictures.md) - [Comical Love-Inspired Food Ads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/burger-king-loveinspired-ads.md)
