# Extreme Face Painting Leaving no Patch Unpainted By Bianca | Published 2008-08-05 | Unique Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/extreme-face-painting References: [clipmarks](http://clipmarks.com/clipmark/8283F881-9915-4665-86A4-25AA7C6B3680/) & [flickr](http://www.flickr.com/photos/hawhawjames/) This comprehensive image gallery shows face painting like you’ve never seen before, by talented artist [James Kuhn](http://www.flickr.com/photos/hawhawjames/)! This isn’t the type of art work you might see at a children’s fair or even in Flickr carnival shots. These photographs show people who have had their entire heads coated in paint and makeup, covering everything in colour but the eyes. The models have been completely transformed into things like a animals and fruit, with accessories to make appropriate additions such a sword fish beak and pineapple leaves. My favourite has to be the Picasso face! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.5/10 - Popularity: 96% | Activity: 61% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Bizarre](https://www.trendhunter.com/bizarre) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Extreme Face Painting:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Developing advanced face painting techniques and products that allow for more realistic and detailed designs. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art and Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating immersive face painting experiences for events, festivals, and theme parks. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Stunning Origami Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origami-portaits.md) - [AI Creative Arts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/funpix-ai.md) - [Reimagined Puzzled Artful Paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portrait-of-a-woman-in-a-hat.md) - [Glass Beaded Intricate Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/painting-exhibition.md) - [Viral Face Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crazyface.md) - [Photo Art Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/image-painter.md) - [Painterly Dining Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/7-paintings-the-art-of-dining.md) - [Raw Sports Emotion Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/game-exhibition.md) - [Runway-Inspired Peel-Off Masks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-001-artistry-mask.md)
