True to their name, the new novelty bars are supremely decadent with premium formulas that take after the brand's signature formulas. These bars contrast smooth and crunchy textures with a thick chocolate coating for indulgent experiences on demand. While Bittersweet Sinphony pairs coffee ice cream with bittersweet fudge swirls and fudge chunks, Deep Sea Treasure is a flavor that plays with sea salt caramel ice cream, caramel sea salt truffles and gooey caramel ribbons. With other varieties like Panda [Paws](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-paw-cleaners), Let's Sough Buffalo! and Brownie Batter, there's something to satisfy every sweet tooth. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 31% | Activity: 47% | Freshness: 19% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Premium Ice Cream Bars:** The introduction of Extra Indulgent ice cream bars by Perry's showcases a trend towards premium, decadent frozen treats that offer an indulgent experience on demand. - **Contrasting Textures:** The Extra Indulgent ice cream bars by Perry's highlight a trend of incorporating both smooth and crunchy textures, creating a delightful contrast in each bite. - **Innovative Flavor Combinations:** Perry's Extra Indulgent ice cream bars feature unique flavor combinations like Bittersweet Sinphony and Deep Sea Treasure, tapping into the trend of offering innovative and exciting taste experiences. ### Who This Affects Most - **Frozen Dessert:** The Extra Indulgent ice cream bars by Perry's deconstruct traditional ice cream bars and present a disruptive innovation opportunity in the frozen dessert industry. - **Chocolate Confectionery:** The premium, thick chocolate coating on Perry's Extra Indulgent ice cream bars presents a disruptive innovation opportunity in the chocolate confectionery industry. - **Flavor Innovation:** Perry's Extra Indulgent ice cream bars featuring unique flavors like Bittersweet Sinphony and Deep Sea Treasure open up a disruptive innovation opportunity in the flavor innovation segment of the food industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Extra Indulgent Ice Creams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/extra-indulgent-ice-cream.md) - [Bar-Style Ice Cream Sundaes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nutty-sundae-ice-cream-bars.md) - [Ice Cream Range Expansions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perrys-ice-cream-bars.md) - [Super-Premium Ice Cream Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ben-jerrys-ice-cream-bars.md) - [Caramel Bear-Themed Ice Creams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/caramel-panda-paws-ice-cream.md) - [Artisanal Ice Cream Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ben-jerrys-ice-cream-bars1.md) - [Indulgent Spoonable Sundaes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ben-jerrys-sundaes2.md) - [Fudgy Pretzel Ice Creams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/impretzively-fudged.md) - [Sugary Gingerbread Ice Creams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iced-gingerbread-ice-cream.md)
