# Escalating Bounty Poker Formats Americas Cardroom Splits Knockouts Into Cash and Bigger Bounty By Adam Harrie | Written with AI assistance | Published 2026-10-04 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/expressive-poker-clients References: [prnewswire](https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/americas-cardroom-rolls-out-october-1-software-update-with-wild-emojis-and-progressive-mystery-bounties-302896707.html) Americas Cardroom is refreshing its poker client so players can react more freely at the table and pursue a bounty format that evolves as tournaments progress. The update offers a choice between milder and rougher [emoji sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/speedmoji), adds 'Progressive Mystery Bounty' events, a multi-day setup that blends hidden rewards with escalating knockout prizes, and extends the refreshed table view to more [mobile play](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/subway-surfers-multiplayer) while sharpening lobby details. The Wild gallery brings sharper reactions and throwable items, but visibility remains personal because each player's settings determine what appears on that screen. In Progressive Mystery Bounty, an elimination on Day 2 pays half of the knocked-out player's bounty immediately and rolls the other half into the winner's target, turning each knockout into both a cash moment and a bigger future prize. For players, this means fewer reasons to switch apps. One room now fits more sessions.
