There is a sense of suspended suspense as well as a ton of violent details that make browsing through such a series very entertaining. Not to mention that there is something slightly cathartic about looking at exploding vases. It is one of the first things to go in dramatic fights, after all. Shot by photographer Martin Klimas, the exploding vases is a follow up to his original series, Rapid Bloom, which captured the [actual flowers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lithic-bloom) in a state of destruction. Dubbed Flowervases, the exploding vases capture "the simultaneous presence of two distinct states and the improbable serenity of the pictures are positively spellbinding," writes Klimas. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.5/10 - Popularity: 40% | Activity: 58% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **High-speed Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop high-speed photography technology for capturing dynamic moments in various industries such as sports, fashion, and automotive. - **Violent Details:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) platforms that offer a heightened sensory experience by showcasing violent details in a controlled and immersive environment. - **Cathartic Visualization:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design interactive digital art installations that allow individuals to engage in cathartic visual experiences, offering therapeutic benefits in industries like wellness and mental health. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop AI-powered cameras and software solutions that automate the process of capturing and analyzing high-speed events, creating new possibilities for photography professionals. - **Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate explosive visual effects in movies, video games, and virtual reality experiences to enhance the entertainment value and create a more immersive viewing or gaming experience. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create customizable vases with built-in mechanisms that allow controlled explosions for unique home decor, providing a dynamic and visually captivating element to interior spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sculpturally Provocative Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vibrant-sculptural-vase.md) - [Delicate Colorful Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delicate-colorful-vase.md) - [Minimalist Illusory Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vaso-gota-vase.md) - [Cosmic Glass Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/black-hole-vase.md) - [Explosion-Damaged Sculpture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-into-darkness.md) - [3D-Printed Colorful Vessels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/olivier-van-herpt-1.md) - [Connection-Inspired X-Shaped Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vaax.md) - [Anamorphic Fuzzy Glowing Vessels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alien-vases.md) - [Mesmerizing Fluid Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flow-fountain.md)
