# Artsy Smartphone Cases The EXOvault Cases Have Sleek and Tasteful Designs By Rahul Kalvapalle | Published 2014-12-03 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/exovault References: [exovault](http://exovault.com/iphone-6/) & [exovault](http://exovault.com/iphone-6/) The release of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ was immediately followed by iPhone case offerings from a number of companies, but EXOvault wasn't one of them. Rather than producing the first [iPhone 6 case](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-16-cases), the designers at EXOvault decided to bide their time and create a beautifully crafted case that would be coveted by anyone with good taste. The EXOvault case is sure to stand out among the crowd of [low-quality and poorly designed phone cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-17-cases) out there, but if you want to make your case even more unique, you can ask for a [custom engraving](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ryan-london-iphone-leather-case) for just $40. This is a great way to personalize the EXOvault, and will make for an excellent gift this holiday season. I personally wouldn't take the engraving option simply because these cases are so tastefully designed -- with an appearance that is both modern yet classic and a smooth well-constructed body -- that I wouldn't want to tamper with it, but to each their own! These cases are available in a number of finishes including aluminum walnut, aluminum teak and brass louro preto among others. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.6/10 - Popularity: 95% | Activity: 95% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Custom Smartphone Cases:** The trend of personalized smartphone cases presents an opportunity for companies to offer unique and individualized designs. - **Premium Phone Accessories:** The popularity of high-end phone cases like EXOvault showcases a demand for luxury smartphone accessories, creating a market for upscale products. - **Craftsmanship in Phone Case Design:** The emphasis on tasteful and well-crafted phone cases by companies like EXOvault highlights the trend of combining functionality with artistic design. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Consumer Electronics:** The consumer electronics industry can capitalize on the trend of custom smartphone cases by offering a wide range of personalized options. - **Luxury Goods:** The luxury goods industry can tap into the growing demand for premium phone accessories by creating high-quality and visually appealing products. - **Design and Manufacturing:** The design and manufacturing industry can explore opportunities to incorporate craftsmanship and artistic elements into phone case production to meet the desires of consumers seeking aesthetically pleasing products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sophisticated Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sophisticated-smartphone-case.md) - [Luxurious Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leather-iphone-case1.md) - [Handcrafted Leather Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alto-original-leather-case.md) - [Metallic Machined Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dango-covert-iphone-case.md) - [Luxe Sustainable Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mujjo-iphone-cases.md) - [Slick Smart Watch Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/golden-concept-x-blvck-paris.md) - [Minimalist Designer-Made Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casetify-the-white-case.md) - [Component-Revealing Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dbrand-x-ray.md) - [Iconic Artist Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/van-gogh-museum-solidsuit.md)
