Swedish design imprint [Bolon](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/exodus-exhibition) shines a spotlight on its flooring through its Exodus exhibition taking place at Milan Design Week. The [sculptural approach is immersive](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/3daysofdesign-2025) and takes place in a historic ballroom in the middle of the city, which happens to be a [former textile factory](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/textile-production). The exhibition is also a collaboration between artist JoAnn Tan and industrial designer Luca Nichetto. It is divided into two parts, each one on either side of a walkway.

Bolon explained, "[On this side] the depths of a primordial forest unfold, an ancient universe where the material seems to rise organically from the ground, pulsating with energy and strength. Surfaces take the form of creatures – robust, powerful as if they were an extension of the landscape itself. The atmosphere becomes ethereal, colours soften into delicate, luminous hues. The landscape appears weightless, like a dream suspended in midair, and the creatures inhabiting this space move with lightness, almost floating."
