The Human Universal Load Carrier by [Lockheed Martin](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/longterm-lunar-exploration) is more robot than human, contrary to what the name implies. The exoskeleton is the first of its kind to be this close to deployment in the military, called to action as soon as next year.

The [exoskeleton is able to carry](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfinstalling-exoskeleton) 200lbs plus its own 53lb weight without burdening the soldier strapped to it, transferring the weight to the ground through titanium rods. It also doesn't hinder movement and allows for running, squatting and jumping. The exo-skeleton is the perfect resource for [carrying supplies into mountains](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/exoskeleton-design) and thin air.
