The Evolution Bar can be consider as an “underground” club due to the fact that it is located in the basement of a building. The biggest challenge for the designer of this club is the fact that they were only given a small area to work with. However, with a little bit of creativity, the designer managed to take a small area that is originally suppose to be a storage area and turn it into a night club. Though the club is contemporary, it incorporates classical byzantine-inspired paintings and fireplaces to add more allure to the small space. The Evolution Bar serves as excellent example for future club designers because it uses the HI-MACS materials to bring out the floating bar that is located in the club. The center of attention, the floating bar, is made out of a 21-meter-long structure that is made into the certain shape through thermoforming of the HI-MACS. The HI-MACS material allows the designer to mold the table into an unusual shape. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 47% | Activity: 38% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Contemporary Clubs:** The Evolution Bar showcases a new and modern concept for contemporary clubs with its unique design and use of materials. - **Underground Clubs:** The Evolution Bar's location in the basement of a building highlights the trend of underground clubs, providing a unique and intimate atmosphere. - **Byzantine-inspired Design:** The incorporation of classical byzantine-inspired paintings and fireplaces in the Evolution Bar points to a trend of blending traditional elements with modern aesthetics in club design. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Hospitality:** The Evolution Bar demonstrates how innovative club design can enhance the overall guest experience in the hospitality industry, attracting new customers and creating a memorable atmosphere. - **Interior Design:** The use of HI-MACS materials and unique design techniques in the Evolution Bar offers opportunities for the interior design industry to explore new materials and create visually striking spaces. - **Event Planning:** Event planners can take inspiration from the Evolution Bar's creative use of limited space, turning a storage area into a successful night club, opening up possibilities for unique event venues and experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Subterranean Social Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/william-vale-hotel.md) - [Oven-Inspired Techno Clubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oven-club.md) - [Architecturally Romantic Restaurant Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/urbanjobs.md) - [Sculptural Bar Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bar-far.md) - [Ethereal Ambiance Speakeasies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artifact-bar.md) - [Sea-inspired Bar Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/civico-29.md) - [Ultra-Luxurious Bar Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cravan-cocktail-bar.md) - [Compact Urban Cafes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-chapel.md) - [Nostalgic Sleek Sky Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peridot-bar.md)
