These amazing [life-sized sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pure-exhibition) of everyday people were made by the influential American sculptor Duane Hanson, and they are part of a [current exhibition](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kennedy-yanko) celebrating his 30-year career as an artist at the Van de Weghe Fine Art gallery.

Duane Hanson portrays middle-class Americans in an incredibly detailed manner. The sculptures are regular, everyday people you would see on the street, from a woman carrying [too many shopping bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-birk) to a tired tourist with a beer gut hanging out and the typical tourist couple equipped with caps and cameras.
