Whitespace, Lululemon's in-house innovation lab, set out to create a new fabric that could better handle extreme conditions of some studio environments. As Whitespace’s senior vice president, Dr Tom Waller describes: "We concerned ourselves with the unique environment that the studio presents. It contains lots of bodies, not much air movement and lots of sweat." As such, Everlux is fast-drying, proficient at wicking away sweat and encourages breathability in conditions of low airflow, as well as high humidity and heat.
