Made from an old [Nintendo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pocket-classic) Entertainment System, the lunch box is sturdy and brings back some major old-school memories. Etsy user Sealcouch had a broken Nintendo system and decided to put it to good use by making it into a lunch box. According to Sealcouch, the Etsy NES Lunch Box is constructed with "a high quality suitcase handle" and an "interior lined with vinyl tape." The latch also comes with a key, so you can keep your lunch (or whatever you may put in there) safe. If you're looking for a way to relive those Nintendo memories, look no further than the Etsy NES Lunch Box. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 53% | Activity: 64% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Upcycled Products:** The Etsy NES Lunch Box demonstrates the trend of transforming old items into new and functional products. - **Nostalgic Merchandise:** There is a growing trend of creating merchandise that appeals to people's fond memories and nostalgia, exemplified by the Etsy NES Lunch Box. - **Handmade Accessories:** The Etsy NES Lunch Box is part of a larger trend of handmade accessories that offer unique and personalized items. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **E-commerce:** The e-commerce industry can benefit from the demand for upcycled and nostalgic merchandise like the Etsy NES Lunch Box. - **Gaming:** The gaming industry can explore partnerships with artisans and creators to design and market nostalgic and unique gaming-related merchandise, including the Etsy NES Lunch Box. - **Craft and DIY:** The craft and DIY industry can provide resources and inspiration for individuals interested in creating their own upcycled and nostalgic products, like the Etsy NES Lunch Box. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vibrant Retro Handheld Gaming](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pocket-classic.md) - [See-Through Cartridge Gaming Consoles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modretro-m64.md) - [Tiny Retro Gamer Consoles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/open-source-games-console.md) - [Nostalgic Handheld Gaming Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/my-arcade-gamestation-portable.md) - [Speaker-Resembling Lunchboxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fender-amp-lunchbox.md) - [Nostalgic Gaming Console Radios](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nintendo-radio.md) - [Retro-Inspired Handheld Game Consoles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sup-game-box-400.md) - [Gaming Console Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mario-cart-coffe-table.md) - [Arcade-Style Console Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-arcade-pro.md)
