# Hypnotic Bathroom Fixtures The Etoile Thermostatic Shower Doesn't Just Clean, It Sooths By Alex Scott | Published 2010-04-01 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/etoile-thermostatic-shower References: [trendir](http://www.trendir.com/archives/004256.html) & [hafro.it](http://www.hafro.it/) The only thing I can find wrong with the Etoile Thermostatic Shower, is that it would likely create such an overwhelming experience that I would pass out and crack my head. Other than that, this thing is truly a work of art. Combining chromatherapy, hydrotheraoy, and yes, even audiotherapy (it has a built in radio!), this fixture truly creates an all encompassing feeling that only hallucinogens could likely match. Designed by Hafro, the Etoile Thermostatic Shower includes an [illuminated shower head](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/red-light-showerhead-filter), an audio system with a built-in LED display, and [multiple hydromassage jets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aretusa-tub-by-claudio-papa). If you install one of these babies in your home, you're likely to become the cleanest person around as known side effects including excessive scrubbing and rinsing. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 56% | Activity: 61% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Multisensory Bath Fixtures:** There is an opportunity to create immersive fixtures that engage multiple senses in bathrooms. - **Smart Bathroom Features:** Bathroom fixtures can be designed with innovative technology to provide a unique and convenient experience to users. - **Wellness-enhancing Showers:** Incorporating elements of chromatherapy, hydromassage, and audiotherapy in bathrooms can provide users with therapeutic benefits. ### Who This Affects Most - **Bathroom Fixture Manufacturing:** Manufacturers can explore ways of incorporating technology and multisensory experiences to bathroom fixtures to offer innovative product solutions. - **Smart Home Technology:** There is an opportunity to integrate smart home technology in bathroom fixtures to enhance user experiences and convenience. - **Health and Wellness Industry:** Bathroom fixtures that incorporate elements of chromatherapy, hydromassage, and audiotherapy can be marketed as wellness products in the health and wellness industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Aromatherapy Infused Shower Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sprig-shower-infusion-system.md) - [Sleek Self-Pleasure Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/womanizer-wave.md) - [Fully Integrated Smart Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-shower-head.md) - [Hygiene-Focused Shower Head Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/showerclear.md) - [Sharp Ultra-Slender Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antoniolupi-tubo.md) - [Aromatherapy Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/h201-shift.md) - [Nature-Inspired Artful Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-bathing-collection.md) - [Temperature-Displaying Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/invispace.md) - [Demure Hand Shower Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bell-jar-shower-head.md)
