The device serves as a solution to a common problem, with a sophisticated aesthetic that adds to the bottle, instead of distracting from it. The [half metal, half glass design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/standard-carafe) complements [white, red and rose wines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/estate-collection-by-the-glass), while allowing one to see the remains of the beverage through the transparent base. Unlike other iterations, Eto cuts off air flow to the wine entirely, preserving a newly opened bottle of wine for weeks, in a manner that's stylish and convenient. The gorgeous design is sure to encourage a home owner to display the object, rather than hiding it behind closed cabinets. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 60% | Activity: 67% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Elegant Wine Preservation:** The 'Eto' wine decanter disrupts traditional wine preservation methods with its stylish and effective design. - **Sophisticated Beverage Accessories:** The half metal, half glass design of the 'Eto' wine decanter offers a visually appealing and functional option for wine enthusiasts. - **Visible Wine Preservation:** The transparent base of the 'Eto' wine decanter allows users to see the remaining wine, revolutionizing the way wine is preserved and enjoyed. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** The elegant and display-worthy 'Eto' wine decanter introduces a unique accessory for home interiors. - **Hospitality:** The sophisticated design and effective preservation capabilities make the 'Eto' wine decanter a valuable addition to wine service in restaurants and hotels. - **Kitchenware:** The 'Eto' wine decanter revolutionizes traditional wine storage methods, offering a visually stunning and functional option for wine lovers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Flavor Preservation Wine Openers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coravin-timeless-three-sl.md) - [Bottle-Optimizing Wine Stoppers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wine-stopper-1.md) - [Effervescent Wine Preservers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sparkling-wine-preservation-system.md) - [Sophisticated Drinking Vessels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eau-carafe.md) - [Space-Saving Wine Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-splitglass.md) - [Wine Top Vacuum Seals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zoenox.md) - [Sparkling Wine Preservation Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coravin.md) - [Wine-Preserving Wands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ullo-uno-wine-purifying-wands.md) - [Sculptural Whisky Decanters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artistry-in-oak.md)
