The built-in magazine rack is angled in such a way that a person can rest their [reading materials](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/penguin-x-moebe) opened to the page they left off at. The circular surface above the rack appears to look down upon the magazine, newspaper or book left opened. Hence, it is given a cute bit of character. Made out of curved wood with a solid beech wood base, the Etable by Tommaso Bistacchi was created in cooperation with Davide Anzalone.
