# Inverted Avian Abodes The Bat House from Estres Studios Keeps Pesky Creatures Out of the House By Michael Hines | Published 2010-08-20 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/estres-studios References: [dornob](http://dornob.com/hanging-bat-house-upside-down-wood-birdhouse-for-bats/) & [estudioestres](http://www.estudioestres.com/) Estres Studios has designed a home for bats to call their own. The Bat House takes the design of a [bird house](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dwellings-project) and [flips it -- literally](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-house-with-an-inverted-roof) -- to make it more inviting for everyone's least favorite [flying friend](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nesting-plan-vi-call-duck). Hopefully the bat-shaped door will be enough of a cue to let bats know that this house is meant to be their home. Regardless, Estres Studios has designed a cute and original birdhouse.
