# Helium-Filled Fixtures The Estiluz Balloon Light Beams Playfully in a Child's Bedroom By Amelia Roblin | Published 2012-01-13 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/estiluz-balloon-light References: [techeblog](http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech-gadget/creative-ceiling-lamp-looks-just-like-a-floating-balloon) & [estiluz](http://www.estiluz.com/modulos/productos_detalle.php?id=14148) Furnishing your home with light fixtures should not be an afterthought. Illuminating pieces have the potential to really accent interior design. The Estiluz Balloon Light is especially attractive as a partly practical and partly ornamental inclusion in a kid's creative bedroom. Sculpted to match the iconic shape of air-filled rubber party decorations, these ceiling lamps seem to hover at the top of the room with their red strings dangling lightly down below. The lightbulb inside sets off the whole translucent object with a bright white glow to completely illuminate the space. The whimsical Estiluz Balloon Light also encourages an element of imagination, enlightening its child to think beyond the bare bulb. The fun fixture is a fantastic opportunity to bring visual delight to dissolving darkness. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 54% | Activity: 80% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Helium-filled Fixtures:** The trend of using helium-filled fixtures in interior design is creating opportunities for playful and imaginative lighting solutions. ### Who This Affects Most - **Lighting Design:** The lighting design industry can embrace the trend of helium-filled fixtures to create unique and whimsical lighting options for homes and businesses. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Balloon-Like Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soft-blown.md) - [Dreamlike Bubble-Shaped Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airshape-lamp.md) - [Air Balloon-Inspired Lamp Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-balloon-lamp.md) - [Chic Saucer-Shaped Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-in-tight-light-fixture.md) - [Hat-Like Fabric Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flying-lamp.md) - [Delicate Illusory Ceiling Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aria-light.md) - [Inflatable Mood Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blow-lamp.md) - [Bulbous Whimsical Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neotenic.md) - [Balloon-Shaped Exterior Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seedevil-balloon-lights.md)
