Featuring a neon-lit ambiance with PCs, large TVs, chunky headsets, as well as the latest models of [Nintendo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mario-kart-worlds), [Microsoft](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xbox-game-pass-promotion) and Sony consoles, the establishment appears to be more of a laid-back space without a competitive attitude. Not only are the mix of sofas and chairs able to accommodate any player's style, the eSports bar centerpiece, defined by the colors red and blue, is a space that encourages team-based games and closer interactions between patrons. The Red Bull Gaming Sphere is an interesting "hybrid of eSports arcade and Twitch-friendly streaming studio." Without a doubt, this underground establishment will be a key hangout spot for video game enthusiasts, looking to have a drink and play alongside their friends. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.8/10 - Popularity: 98% | Activity: 98% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/games) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Esports Bars:** Red Bull's underground eSports bar concept combines drinking and friendly video gaming. - **Neon-lit Ambiance:** The use of neon lighting in eSports bars creates a unique and immersive atmosphere for gamers. - **Team-based Gaming:** The emphasis on team-based games in eSports bars encourages closer interactions between patrons. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Hospitality:** The concept of underground eSports bars presents an opportunity for hospitality businesses to cater to video game enthusiasts looking for a unique social experience. - **Gaming Technology:** The integration of the latest gaming technology, such as PCs, consoles, and headsets, in eSports bars opens up opportunities for the gaming technology industry to collaborate and provide innovative solutions. - **Entertainment:** The rise of eSports bars as a new form of entertainment venue creates opportunities for the entertainment industry to explore partnerships and sponsorships with gaming brands and events. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [eSports-Ready Hotel Suites](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxury-gaming-suite.md) - [Collaborative Esports Tetris Tournaments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/red-bull-2.md) - [Competitive Battle Royale Events](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/red-bull-1.md) - [Esports Collegiate Tournaments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/red-bull-campus-clutch.md) - [Game-Honoring Energy Drink Branding](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/red-bull-tetris.md) - [Fandom Culture Retail Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eb-trends-store-concept.md) - [Multi-Brand Esports Deals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/college-rivals.md) - [eSports-Synced Smart Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/razer-aether.md) - [Futuristic Gaming Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orb-x.md)
