It gives people a bird's eye glimpse at the fierceness of such a natural phenomenon. Instead of focusing on the after effects of molten lava slowly running down the lip of the Bárðarbunga volcano, he captures the most active part of the erupting volcano, the way it sprays upwards with such heat and ferocity. Extremely active, according to Guide to Iceland, the erupting volcano photography shows how thespewing lava reached heights of up to 150 meters. Surrounded by equally massive [clouds of smoke](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magma-lamp), the images are impressively dramatic. By the looks of this erupting volcano photography, Belegurschi could have been in danger if he got any closer. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 22% | Activity: 18% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/fashion) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/stylephotography) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Erupting Volcano Photography:** Capturing the intense and dramatic moments of an erupting volcano offers opportunities for thrilling and captivating storytelling through visual media. ### Where This Applies - **Photography:** Incorporating the challenges and risks of capturing erupting volcano photography can lead to unique perspectives and create demand for specialized photographers and equipment. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Explosively Strong Imperial Stouts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/strong-imperial-stouts.md) - [Volcanic Lighting Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lighting-installation.md) - [Volcanic-Themed Light Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stone-archive.md) - [Volcanic Visitor Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plat-asia.md) - [Volcanic Stone Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foscarini-lava-lamps.md) - [Painting-Immersive Photo Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-ground-exhibition.md) - [Haunting Glacial Fragrances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joklalykt.md) - [Dramatic Doomsday Bunker Images](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alastair-philip-wiper.md) - [Unique Regional Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/icelandair-boasts-activities.md)
