Artist Erika Iris has made classic video game characters come to life in her 'Ghost in the Machine' series. These awesome pieces would make a great addition to any geek's home. Iris created each piece from retro [Nintendo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nintendo-radio) controllers and wires. The pieces are currently on display in Princeton, New Jersey at Triumph Brewery for her solo exhibition.

Iris has created several pieces and they all have a very nostalgic feel to them. Each piece is created using a [NES](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-gaming-box) controller and its cord. The different pieces include, PAC-MAN, Mario, A Mario Mushroom and Zelda.

Each piece is selling for $2,000; so if you're a wealthy nerd searching for a great piece of art that reflects that, you should definitely check the series out.
