Dutch architect Erick van Egeraat has won the rights to design a new [waste-to-power incineration](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minix) line in [Roskilde, Denmark](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/niels-bohr-car-park). He is not only planning to make an incredibly efficient plant which will "process 260,000 to 350,000 tons of waste per year (and) generate enough electricity for 60,000 households," but also a monument which will [illuminate the night](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/netherlands-pavilion) while providing aesthetic inspiration to cities.

Now all we have to do is wait for 2013, when this amazing plant by Erick Van Egeraat will hopefully be finished and functioning.
