It embodies a warm design language of modern visuals backed by natural materials and neutral tones. It is surrounded by [tall cedar trees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cypress-retreat) and rests on top of a quiet land in Edgemont just across the water from the bustling city. It is home to a family of four who have moved to this location from New York City. Explaining the design of the entire home, Colpitts explains "This home is a juxtaposition of all good things.
