If you look through the gallery, you’ll see exactly why it’s important that I do. Featuring a platter-like top above the actual hook, the Eric Degenhardt ‘Saucer’ would eliminate my need for a [entry way table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookmarker-table). Also, the hook arm also acts as a neat little shelf. All in all, a very helpful, [space-saving product for small homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/expand-furniture). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 1% | Activity: 39% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Space-saving Products:** The Eric Degenhardt 'Saucer' coat hook is an example of a space-saving product that eliminates the need for an entryway table and provides a neat little shelf. - **Multi-tasking Products:** The Eric Degenhardt 'Saucer' coat hook demonstrates the value of multi-tasking products that serve multiple functions, like providing a hook and a shelf. - **Small Home Solutions:** Products like the Eric Degenhardt 'Saucer' coat hook cater to the need for efficient and practical solutions for small homes. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Organization:** The home organization industry can benefit from the development of more space-saving products like the Eric Degenhardt 'Saucer' coat hook. - **Furniture Design:** In the furniture design industry, there is an opportunity to create more multi-tasking products that optimize small spaces, similar to the Eric Degenhardt 'Saucer' coat hook. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can explore innovative small home solutions, including products like the Eric Degenhardt 'Saucer' coat hook, to create functional and stylish living spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tripod-Like Garment Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-coat-rack.md) - [Storage-Conscious Clothing Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coat-hingers.md) - [Ultra-Simple Multifunctional Furniture Pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chairpf.md) - [Smiley Clothing Wall Hooks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/itsahook.md) - [Space-Saving Garment Care Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flip-dualfunction-ironing-board-mirror.md) - [Open-Concept Clothing Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bauhutte-clothes-hanger-rack.md) - [Removable Plate Shelving Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gere-multifunctional-crockery-shelf.md) - [Minimal Shoe Rack Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tokyo-shoe-rack.md) - [Transforming Umbrella Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/split-1.md)
