# Ergonomic PC Wrist Supports This Ergonomic Mouse Pad Conforms to the Natural Contours of the Wrist By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2017-02-17 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ergonomic-mouse-pad References: [geeky-gadgets](http://www.geeky-gadgets.com/apple-mouse-ergonomic-mouse-pad-16-02-2017/) & [kickstarter](https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/selahdesign/the-selah-pad-for-apple-mouse) [Modern computer mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/keychron-m5) don't require mousepads but this doesn't mean they are any less capable of causing pain or strains, so this ergonomic mouse pad works to support the wrist of a user. While traditional mouse pad wrist supports will simply prop the wrist upward, this wrist support is designed with the natural contours of your wrist in mind. This makes it possible to use a mouse without having to move your wrist in an improper direction that can quickly create aches, pains, tendinitis, carpal tunnel and many other ailments. The ergonomic mouse pad is the design work of Selah Design and features a stylishly minimal aesthetic that offers far more support over existing solutions on the market. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 83% | Activity: 65% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Health](https://www.trendhunter.com/health) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Ergonomic Mouse Pads:** Opportunity to develop innovative mouse pads that provide enhanced wrist support and minimize pain and strains. - **Natural Contour Designs:** Chance to create products that conform to the natural contours of the wrist for improved ergonomics and user comfort. - **Minimalist Aesthetics:** Potential for designing stylish and minimalistic ergonomic products that prioritize both form and function. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Computer Accessories:** Scope to revolutionize the computer accessories industry by introducing innovative ergonomic mouse pads. - **Ergonomic Furniture:** Opportunity to disrupt the ergonomic furniture industry by integrating natural contour designs into wrist supports. - **Product Design:** Potential for creating aesthetically pleasing and ergonomically sound products that cater to the growing demand for minimalist designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ergonomic Scroll Mouse Peripherals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slidermouse-pro.md) - [Contoured Workstation Wrist Rests](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kensington-ergosoft-wrist-rest.md) - [Ergonomic Modular Mousepads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/isoarm.md) - [Discomfort Prevention Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vertical-ergonomic-mouse.md) - [Health-Conscious Mouse Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ergo-ergonomic-mouse-concept.md) - [Ergonomic Wrist Rest Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/allin-ergonomic-mouse.md) - [Contoured Comfort Mouse Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/conceptual-ergonomic-mouse.md) - [Laptop-Friendly Mouse Pads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bord-mouse-pad.md) - [Custom Calibration Computer Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ergonomic-computer-mouse.md)
