This Eraser Light designed by Steffen Kehrle and Julia Landsiedi is a solution to that problem. The idea is that if you can’t dim the light, just cover it up to block some of it. The Eraser Light gives you the option of how much of the bulb you would like to protrude from the [aluminum casing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flat-light). Its simple rectangle design gives it an easy but cool feel that is appropriate for any room. Now you don’t have to feel like you’re under an LED spotlight and you can enjoy some [relaxing dimmed lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-player). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 11% | Activity: 17% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **LED Dimming Solutions:** Opportunity for innovative products that allow users to conveniently and effectively dim LED lights. - **Customizable Lighting:** Room for creative lighting controllers that give users the option to adjust how much of the bulb protrudes from the casing. - **Enhanced Lighting Experience:** Demand for lighting solutions that provide a more enjoyable and relaxing ambiance through dimmed lights. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Lighting Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in developing advanced LED dimming solutions and customizable lighting controllers. - **Home Decor:** Opportunity in creating innovative lighting products that enhance the overall aesthetic and atmosphere of a room. - **Hospitality:** Potential for disruptive innovation in creating lighting systems that provide a superior guest experience by offering customizable and dimmable lights. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Smart Ambient Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-varmblixt-smart-lights.md) - [Simplistic Angular Desktop Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linear-table-lamp.md) - [Mood-Setting Adventurous Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/guidelight.md) - [Customizable Desktop Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hilight-r9-desk-lamp.md) - [Convenient Multi-Purpose Flashlights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dark-fade.md) - [Fashionable Flicker-Free Desk Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shlight-led-desk-lamp.md) - [Space-Saving Desk Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacesaving-desk-lamp.md) - [Dimmable Dog Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grejsimojs.md) - [Sleep-Aiding Tranquil Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-player.md)
