To begin, rather than making film posters for current releases, Re has instead crafted promos honoring the [filmography](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cinema-roadmap) of [legendary director](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-world-of-tim-burton) Alfred Hitchcock. Among the titles featured are ‘North by Northwest,’ ‘Rear Window,’ ‘The Man Who Knew Too Much,’ ‘Vertigo,’ ‘The Birds’ and ‘Psycho.’ Secondly, his posters use cryptic graphics that denote the plots of each film. Some of the images make much more sense once you’re well acquainted with the titles, adding to the enjoyment of each poster. If Enzo Lo Re continues to churn out clever work like this, you can expect the Milano, Italy-based artist to get some fame of his own in the near future. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 37% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Fan Movie Posters:** Creating fan movie posters as a way for up-and-coming artists to showcase their skills. - **Tributes to Legendary Directors:** Crafting promos that pay homage to the filmography of legendary directors. - **Cryptic Graphics:** Using cryptic graphics to depict the plots of films on movie posters. ### Where This Applies - **Art and Design:** Opportunities for artists to create unique and creative fan art, such as movie posters. - **Film and Entertainment:** Providing a new way to engage with and celebrate the work of legendary directors. - **Graphic Design:** Utilizing cryptic graphics as a storytelling technique in visual communication for movies and other media. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Witty Toy-Brand Horror Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/horror-poster.md) - [Movie-Themed Art NFTs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cheeky-kyser.md) - [Horror Movie-Inspired Popcorn Buckets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/popcorn-coffin.md) - [AI-Generated Christmas Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christmas-posters.md) - [Retro Space-Themed Puzzled Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/john-carter.md) - [Heritage-Honoring Artful Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archival-poster-collection.md) - [Sci-Fi-Inspired Classical Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sen-donnan.md) - [Cult Movies-Inspired Graphic Streetwear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/film-club-collection.md) - [AI Movie Poster Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-movie-poster-generator.md)
