Designer Jason Plumb has created a set of speakers designed to stand out for both their looks and their performance. The Enhance Speakers have a body made out of [organic teak](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vavia) and speakers made out of acrylic. These materials give the speaker its [unique looks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audio-pro-t3-jepson-edition) and also help separate its sound from the boxy speakers most people are accustomed to today.

Even if you aren't a huge audiophile, you can still understand that having a speaker that projects sound out with no obstructions is better than a speaker that puts sound in a box. While the size of the Enhance Speakers is a little unruly, especially for those with compact workstations, I do love the direction of this concept and hope that Plumb takes the Enhance Speakers past the [one-off concept](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sonique) stage.
