# Desk Organizer Lamp Hybrids Design by Joffrey Creates the Engrid Desk Lamp Concept By Amy Duong | Published 2025-04-30 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/engrid-desk-lamp References: [designbyjoffey](https://www.designbyjoffey.com/) Design by Joffrey is the creative team behind the Engrid [desk lamp concept](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leda), which reimagines a hybrid function blending elements of a classic [pen holder](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stilo75-pen-holder) and a desk lamp. The Engrid desk lamp merges the two and turns it into a unique desk accessory. It works as a decor item with its sleek shape and visual, catering to designers and artists alike. The grid structure has a minimal look and operates as the core of the Engrid desk lamp. It features latticed details similar to the structure of wine racks and it is meant to hold pens between the grids. It can insert pens, markers, and [reduce clutter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modulo-1) as a whole with a custom illumination.
