The company has created a range of flamboyant roman blinds that are prefect for those who dare to be different. Inspired and influenced by the [pop art movement](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joopiter) of the 1950s and 60s, they mix vibrant, high-impact colors with iconic archive imagery. From [Fiat](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/romero-britto) 500s to Mini Coopers, starlets to tropical birds and flowers, the blinds' eclectic use of timeless images is a good example of taking retro styling and making it appealing to a more varied modern crowd. A touch edgy and perhaps a little contentious, these funky new shades from English Blinds, whether they’re your bag or not, are certainly unforgettable. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 37% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Pop Art Home Decor:** Creating bold and vibrant home decor pieces inspired by the pop art movement. - **Eclectic Retro Styling:** Mixing iconic archive imagery with retro styling to create a unique and eye-catching aesthetic. - **Personalized Window Coverings:** Offering customizable blinds that allow individuals to express their unique style and personality. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can incorporate bold and vibrant pop art-inspired designs into their product offerings. - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can utilize eclectic retro styling to create unique and visually appealing spaces for their clients. - **Window Coverings:** The window coverings industry can tap into the demand for personalized and custom blinds to cater to individual preferences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [English Country-Style Window Treatments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/window-treatments.md) - [Eye-Catching Textile Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peter-saville-1.md) - [Pop Art Beer Branding](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/budweiser-and-sir-peter-blake.md) - [Glow-in-the-Dark Blinds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glow-in-the-dark-blinds.md) - [Folk Art-Inspired Wallpapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/backdrop.md) - [Smart Modern Shades](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-modern-shades.md) - [Artistically Rendered One-Of-A-Kind Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/romero-britto.md) - [80s-Inspired Ceramic Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flaming-stars.md) - [Pop Art Legend-Honoring Dolls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/keiichi-tanaami-1.md)
