What makes the Emulator DVS set itself apart from everything else on the market? For one, everything is operated via touchscreen; think of it as one large tablet, but for musical purposes only. The 46" touchscreen features all the essentials of a mixer including over 130 buttons, faders and knobs. Users can easily [customize their own interface](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ds-pixel-keyboard) for their own convenience for them and personalized graphics for the screen. The Emulator DVS is also see-through which means the crowd can see exactly what the DJ is doing at all times. The Emulator DVS comes with 32" and 42" sizes if 46" is too big; custom sizes are available by request. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.6/10 - Popularity: 45% | Activity: 86% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Touchscreen Midi Mixers:** The trend towards use of touchscreen technology in MIDI mixers presents opportunities for further innovation in music production. - **Customizable DJ Interfaces:** The demand for customizable DJ interfaces presents opportunities to create personalized experiences for users that cater to their individual preferences. - **Interactive DJ Performances:** The Emulator DVS's see-through display technology presents opportunities for DJs to add an interactive element to their performances, engaging with the audience in a new way. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Music Production:** The introduction of touchscreen technology in MIDI mixers presents disruptive innovation opportunities for music producers and equipment manufacturers alike. - **Event Production:** The Emulator DVS's see-through display and customizable interface present opportunities for event planners and production companies to create visually stunning and personalized experiences for their clients. - **Technology Hardware:** The development of advanced midi controllers like the Emulator DVS presents opportunities for hardware manufacturers to integrate new technologies and features into their products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cyberpunk DJ Console Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/midi-controller-concept.md) - [Motorized Dj Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-rane-one-mkii.md) - [Retro-Futuristic DJ Consoles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/opj-dj-console.md) - [Consolidated DJ Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dj-systems.md) - [Interchangeable Component DJ Decks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-dj-controller.md) - [Hybrid Digital Analog Turntables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pioneer-plxcrss12.md) - [Ring-Style DJ Gear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuno-1.md) - [Modular DJ Consoles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twin-dj.md) - [Intuitive MIDI Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/matrix-midi-controller.md)
