If you're having trouble imagining the Harry Potter actors as anything other than the J.K. Rowling characters you've grown to love, the Emma Watson Harper's Bazaar August 2011 issue will surely help you out. The issue is presented with two contrasting covers that both feature the young starlet -- one with a sweet and innocent look, and the other with a much edgier and grown-up glam look that is less commonly attributed to the star. The lighting and poses of the softer shots create an angelic look, while the black bob cut and intense black stilettos of the contrasting look are stunning and dramatic. My favorite shot has Watson posing up against a gothic black fence, and she looks like a modern day Wednesday Addams-turned fashionista.
The contrasting looks of the Emma Watson Harper's Bazaar shoot were both styled by Cathy Kasterine and photographed by Alexi Lubomirski. The final product shows that the three work very well together, creating this very effective and trendy
"good girl gone bad" spread. It has definitely convinced me that Emma Watson's career will not be retiring with the final Harry Potter film.
