# Lakeview Facades 'Emerald Residences' Takes Cues from Georgia O'Keeffe's Art By Katherinev123 | Published 2010-06-18 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emerald-residences References: [emeraldplaty](http://www.emeraldplaty.com/) & [mobius.cy](http://www.mobius.com.cy/) Sparkling in the sunlight with waves of green- and blue-colored glass, the design of the 'Emerald Residences - Platy' by Andreas Trisveis from [Mobius Design Group](http://www.mobius.com.cy/) will truly be a sight to behold upon its completion. To be located in Nicosia, Cyprus, the Emerald Residences is a sustainable structure, taking inspiration from [Georgia O'Keeffe's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-mexico-collection) famous painting 'From the Lake No.1.' Like the suggestion behind its name, the building channels a certain calm with its glass construction, natural lighting and open space design. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 2% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Sustainable Architecture:** This trend presents opportunities for innovative construction materials and energy-efficient design solutions. - **Biophilic Design:** This trend can be leveraged to create buildings that connect people with nature, promoting well-being and productivity. - **Art-inspired Architecture:** This trend allows for the integration of artistic elements into architectural designs, creating unique and visually appealing structures. ### Who This Affects Most - **Construction:** The construction industry can explore new materials and technologies to improve sustainability and create visually striking buildings. - **Architecture:** Architects can incorporate principles of biophilic design and art-inspired concepts into their projects, enhancing the overall experience. - **Real Estate:** Real estate developers can market sustainable and art-inspired properties, attracting environmentally conscious and aesthetically inclined buyers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Organic Striking Tower Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-leaves.md) - [Diamond-Inspired Luxe Skyscrapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-miami.md) - [Ultra-Colorful High-Density Residential Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/highdensity-residential-design.md) - [Fish Lifestyle-Inspired Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-of-gills.md) - [Textured Local Stone Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-atrium-house.md) - [Thoughtful Lakeside Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lakeside-living.md) - [Meadow-Overlooking Sleek Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studioac-1.md) - [Lakefront District Towers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lake-views.md) - [Coastal Island Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pasparakisfriel.md)
