Although we have featured many unique and sometimes bizarre plates here at TH, these “Fiber Arts” versions by Vietnamese Artist, Diem Chau, are certainly more than a little bit out there.

The idea of hair and plates is a little strange to begin with (think of finding a hair in your food, Yuck!) but these embroidered designs are certainly thought-provoking and eye catching.

In addition to an extensive range of [fiber items](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bourdon-street-chippy), Chau offers custom carved crayon images, and the [miniature table and chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chair-chess) in the cup are carved from, believe it or not, toothpicks. Is there no end to the extent of creativity? Let’s hope not!
