The products are crafted with everyday luxury in mind to prioritize ease of access for consumers looking to quickly and conveniently enjoy a soup that they might find at a high-end restaurant. The soups come in two options including Mediterranean Style Seafood and Fish Chowder, which are both arriving in 400-gram cans for £2.80 each. Head of Marketing for [Golden Acre Foods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Najma-range) Rebecca Cutter commented on the Elsinore seafood soups saying, "Not everyone can afford to dine out and not everyone has the time to make their own homemade soup from scratch. We know that many consumers are looking for long life options to provide a quick, easy and affordable meal for themselves and their families. But whilst convenience is important, consumers are not prepared to compromise on taste and luxury when they dine at home or host a dinner party. The new Elsinore soups have been developed based on trends and inspired by restaurants and offer a taste of everyday luxury at an affordable price.” ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 5% | Activity: 6% | Freshness: 35% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Luxury-inspired Convenience Foods:** The fusion of luxury dining concepts with convenience products offers a fresh avenue for premium canned goods targeting time-strapped consumers. - **Affordable Gourmet Experiences:** Affordable gourmet experiences allow consumers to enjoy high-end culinary flavors at home without the associated costs of dining out. - **Sustainable Seafood Sourcing:** Sustainable seafood sourcing becomes increasingly relevant as consumers seek responsible nutrition options paired with gourmet quality. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Canned Food Industry:** The canned food industry is undergoing a transformation as it embraces upscale culinary trends to appeal to discerning palates. - **Specialty Food Retail:** Within specialty food retail, the emphasis on luxury and convenience opens new channels for premium grocery products. - **Restaurant-quality Meal Kits:** Restaurant-quality meal kits are being complemented by ready-to-eat products that mimic the restaurant experience at home. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Premium Instant Soups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/premium-instant-soups.md) - [Restaurant-Ready Soup Lineups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/culinary-reserve-soups.md) - [Plant-Powered Seafood Soups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plant-based-seafood-soup.md) - [Elevated Frozen Seafood Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/youngs-seafood-gastro-range.md) - [Convenient Frozen Soup Cubes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soupologie-souper-cubes.md) - [Luxe Canned Sardines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sardines-with-lobster-oil.md) - [Restaurant-Inspired Seafood Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/youngs-gastro.md) - [Canned Lasagna Soups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lasagna-soups.md) - [Slim Super-Premium Soups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/premium-soups.md)
