Guests can request a one-night experience at a wooded hideaway in Thousand Oaks, California, where the interiors feature character-themed props including Elphaba’s broom, hat and spellbook. The stay will open for requests on November 11 and includes either a three-hour creative session with actor Cynthia Erivo or a full overnight stay for two on December 6. The space uses a secluded natural setting to heighten its theatrical atmosphere and bring visitors into a narrative environment. The retreat focuses on world-building rather than typical hotel amenities by using forest pathways, textured materials and dramatic staging to evoke the story. This approach blends entertainment and hospitality to show how narrative-driven design can turn a themed location into a temporary extension of a film universe.
