The seat is often uncomfortably high when feet are placed on the ground and not the pedals. Conceived and created by Bill Becker, a retired assembly line worker, the Elev8 bike is especially geared towards elderly cyclists. The seat is attached to a pivoting arm that is controlled by a lever on the handlebar.
