# Anatomy Inspired Lighting The Mini Heart Electric Lamp Is Bloody Intriguing By Cowbag | Published 2008-12-10 | Fashion Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eletric-heart-lamp-pulsating-home-lighting References: [baronbob](http://www.baronbob.com/heart-electric-lamp.htm?AID=10273718&PID=1973330) The Mini Heart Electra Lamp is anatomically correct and both gruesome and cool. Switched off it just looks like an anatomically correct, but blue heart. Switched on, however, it glows a bright red and gives the room a beautiful glow in a non-bordello type of way. If that is not enough, "[touch any part of the lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tap-tap-table-lamp) and the electric currents will attract themselves to your finger like magic." Tacky but I love it, but I have no interior decorating pride. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 5% | Activity: 55% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/fashion) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Anatomically-correct Lighting:** Opportunity for creating lighting designs inspired by human anatomy, adding a unique and intriguing touch to interior decor. - **Interactive Light Fixtures:** Potential for developing light fixtures that respond to touch or movement, enhancing user experience and creating a playful and engaging atmosphere. - **Ambient Glow Lighting:** Growing demand for lighting products that provide a warm and inviting glow, offering a non-traditional and elegant alternative for interior lighting. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for interior designers to incorporate anatomical lighting designs, creating visually unique and captivating spaces. - **Home Decor:** Opportunity for home decor companies to offer interactive light fixtures that combine functionality and aesthetics, appealing to consumers looking for distinctive and immersive products. - **Lighting Manufacturing:** Growing market for ambient glow lighting, prompting lighting manufacturers to develop innovative products that provide a soothing and enchanting glow in various settings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Scenic Architecture Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/architecture-inspired-table-lamp.md) - [Educational Anatomy Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/giant-heart-with-hidden-cells.md) - [Medical Equipment-Inspired Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pond-lamp.md) - [Artistic Magnetic Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scacco-matto-lamp.md) - [Red Neon Cross Lightbulbs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/red-cross-light-bulb.md) - [Retro-Tinged Compact Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lari-mini.md) - [Quirky Common Item Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/table-lamp-lighter.md) - [Minimalist Mysterious Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/auge-light-mini.md) - [Sleek Structural Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emotional-lab-light.md)
