The sea-inspired [sculptural vase](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/black-hole-vase) consists of eight different interlocking stems that are made to mimic the [natural formations of biological sea coral](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alherd). The vase interlocks to form the base that also helps to balance the weight of the piece once water and flowers are added to it. Each stem also features an inner test tube that can be removed independently to allow for easy watering and the [re-arrangement of flowers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kinetic-vases) depending on the users taste. With or without a floral arrangement, the elegant coral design of this modern vase makes for a wonderful piece of decor wherever it's displayed in one's home. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 32% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Contemporary Floral Holders:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing flower holders that enhance the beauty of floral arrangements. - **Sculptural Vases:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Designing vases that serve as standalone decorative pieces, inspired by natural forms and materials. - **Modular Watering Systems:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Developing modular vase designs that allow for easy watering and flexible arrangement of flowers. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating unique and visually striking home decor items that add a touch of elegance to any living space. - **Floral and Event Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introducing innovative vases and floral holders that elevate the art of floral arrangements for events and occasions. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrating sculptural vases into interior design concepts, offering clients unique and captivating decorative options. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Delicate Colorful Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delicate-colorful-vase.md) - [Nature-Inspired Colorful Glass Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anemona.md) - [Minimalist Illusory Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vaso-gota-vase.md) - [Floating Stem Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lotus-effect-vase.md) - [Greenery-Inspired Textured Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leaf-textured-ceramic-vase.md) - [Personalized Floral Grid Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-vase.md) - [Copper Tubular Minimal Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hiroyuki-yuasa.md) - [Eco Abstract Vase Covers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leather-vase.md) - [Jewelry-Holding Flower Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mirror-vase-stand.md)
