# Concerto Cooking Electrolux Re-Mix Prepares Food on Beat By Andrew Robichaud | Published 2009-06-04 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electrolux-re-mix References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2009/06/03/mix-some-sound-patterns-in-the-batter/) & [kennyhopper](http://www.kennyhopper.com/) This concept by Kenny Hopper is to die for. Cooking has always been fun (for me, anyway), but now it can be much more entertaining. Kenny Hopper’s [Electrolux](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitchen-appliance-hub) Re-Mix Food Mixer does exactly what it sounds like. Plug in a [musical device](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-midi-controller), put your [mix-needing foods on the plate](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/powerxl-stirmax-multicooker) and away she goes. Make pancake batter to Black Sabbath (check the video), or sauce to an AC/DC track. Sound quality is good, and I’m betting the food comes out tasting better. I can hear the simmering symphony now! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 41% | Activity: 98% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Musical Cooking:** Integrating music with cooking appliances to create a more entertaining and immersive culinary experience. - **Interactive Food Preparation:** Using technology to engage users in the food preparation process through synchronized actions with music. - **Sensory Food Experiences:** Exploring the combination of music and cooking to enhance the overall sensory experience of food. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Kitchen Appliances:** Kitchen appliance manufacturers can develop innovative mixers and food processors that incorporate music playback functionality. - **Home Entertainment:** Home entertainment companies can explore the integration of music systems with kitchen appliances to create multi-sensory experiences for users. - **Food and Beverage:** Restaurants and food service establishments can adopt the concept of musical cooking to enhance their customers' dining experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sustainable Kitchen Mixers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/remix.md) - [Dj Set-Cooking Collaborations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-bouillon-room.md) - [AI-Fueled Music Mixer Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/happy-music-mixer-07.md) - [Ai-Powered Recipe-Generating Appliance](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-kitchen-cosmo.md) - [Telescoping Component Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hybrid-kitchen-aid.md) - [Modular Multifunctional Kitchen Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pronto-and-alto.md) - [Smart Stand Mixers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ge-profile-smart-mixer.md) - [Singer-Collab Bright Limited Mixers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitchenaid-3.md) - [Connected Meal Preparation Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-food-processor.md)
