This is a [water filtering system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-water-filter-pitcher) that's been developed especially to serve your purring furry friend. Placed on the floor and filled to the brim, the appliance starts working immediately to ensure that the liquid served is of the purest quality. An integrated ultraviolet light pump zaps unwanted microorganisms in the fluid while carbon filters remove chlorine. The result is clarified and crisp H2O that's automatically dispensed into the dish for your precious pussycat. To guarantee the sufficient hydration of your pet, Camila May Kumamoto's Electric Fountain for Cats has a warning light for when the water must be topped up. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 35% | Activity: 48% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: South America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Pet Wellness Technology:** Opportunities for innovation in pet wellness technology are emerging such as electric fountains for cats that filter and purify water. - **Smart Homes for Pets:** Integrating smart pet technology into the homes of pet owners is an area of growth, seen in products such as electric fountains for cats. - **Tech-driven Pet Care:** The trend towards tech-driven pet care is growing and is evidenced by products such as the Electric Fountain for Cats. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Pet Care:** Pet Care companies can develop and market technologies such as electric fountains for cats to enhance pet wellness and care. - **Smart Home:** Smart Home technology providers can integrate smart pet technology such as electric fountains for cats into their offerings to enhance the overall home experience. - **Water Filtration:** Companies specializing in water filtration systems can enter the pet industry and develop products such as Electric Fountains for Cats to provide unique filtered water solutions for pets. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Water-Purifying Pet Fountains](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petcube-2.md) - [Water-Purifying Pet Fountains](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dockstream-water-fountain.md) - [Naturalistic Pet Fountains](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lalahome-realfountain.md) - [Refined Feline Water Dispensers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-water-dispenser-concept.md) - [Eco-Friendly Cat Water Fountains](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qinliy-cat-water-fountain.md) - [Smart Pet-Focused Fountains](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/enabot.md) - [Ultra-Filtration Pet Water Fountains](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glacier-fountain.md) - [Multi-Cat Smart Fountains](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dockstream-rfid-smart-fountain.md) - [Tech-Driven Pet Care Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/auto-pet-feeder.md)
