Now, it gets another launch with the help of Danish manufacturer [Sibast](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sophisticated-dining-furniture) Furniture and the help of Arne's son Michael Vodder. It was created as accurately as possible based on old drawings and measurments. Michael Vodder speaks about the new design, stating “I remember my father’s keen interest in this type of chair and how proud he was of the chaise lounge. After striking out on my own, I’ve always dreamt of having this specific chair in my home. It was one of the most iconic pieces of furniture my father ever designed, and, in my opinion, its style is still fresh and up-to-date.” Image Credit: Sibast Furniture ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 47% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 14% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Vintage Design Resurgence:** The resurgence of vintage designs present opportunities to manufacturers to re-launch classic pieces with modern updates. - **Legacy Maintained:** Opportunities exist to preserve the legacy of designers through the re-creation of their iconic pieces. - **Heritage Inspirations:** The use of heritage as an inspiration in product design can offer new ideas for manufacturers. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Furniture manufacturers can leverage the trend of vintage design resurgence to create new revenue streams. - **Design and Architecture:** Designers and architects can explore ways to incorporate heritage inspirations in their projects and create unique experiences. - **Art and Collectibles:** The re-launch of iconic designs presents opportunities for art and collectibles dealers to showcase and compete for these vintage pieces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Slick Futuristic Chair Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/classical-norwegian-design.md) - [Danish Mid-Century Modern Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/danish-midcentury-modern.md) - [Posture-Maintaining Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/havana-lounge.md) - [Tech-Infused Egg Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arne-jacobsen.md) - [Upholstered Organically Shaped Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-clam-chair.md) - [Relaxed Simplistic Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gb-lounge.md) - [Mid-Century Seating Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magnus-olesens.md) - [Retro Modular Vibrant Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/easy-chair-1.md) - [Vibrant Chaise Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/versarest.md)
