Indeed, the smooth white egg may be the focal point, but it contains a [mixture of soil and seeds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/treesoil) that is the golden yolk of this object. The Savannah College of Art and Design student began with just the raw natural materials, sculpting them a perfect replica of a chicken's egg for protection. An octagonal carton was constructed around it to then shelter the delicate capsule. Within the cardboard box, a supportive base has been constructed. With a small hole in the center it holds the egg securely.
