The health solutions company is now introducing two new discs, Prebiotic + and Sleep +, both of which are packed with essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients. As Effusio Chief Innovation Officer Dr. Stephen Phipps says, "The launch of Prebiotic + and Sleep + offers an innovative alternative to meeting your daily supplement needs by complementing your health routine, not complicating it." The eco-friendly discs are made with naturally derived ingredients and without fillers, additives and allergens, plus they do away with wasteful plastic packaging. Effusio's Prebiotic + is a blend of ingredients to support digestive health and immune function like green tea extracts and polyphenols from pomegranate and blueberry. Sleep + shares the soothing support of L-theanine, chamomile and melatonin. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.5/10 - Popularity: 92% | Activity: 93% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Health](https://www.trendhunter.com/health) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Functional Beverage Discs:** Creating two-dimensional dissolving discs that infuse any beverage with essential vitamins and minerals provides a disruptive innovation opportunity. - **Eco-friendly Supplements:** The use of naturally derived ingredients to create supplements in an eco-friendly format presents a disruptive innovation opportunity. - **Personalized Nutrition:** The ability to create dissolvable discs with different types of functional benefits presents an opportunity for personalized nutrition and represents a disruptive innovation opportunity. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Health Supplements:** Effusio's dissolvable drink discs represent a disruptive innovation in the health supplements industry. - **Beverage:** Effusio's functional beverage discs represent a disruptive innovation in the beverage industry. - **Packaging:** Effusio's use of eco-friendly, dissolvable packaging for supplements presents a disruptive innovation opportunity in the packaging industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Functional Beverage Sachets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/daily-functional-drinks.md) - [Gut Health Hydration Supplements](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/preme.md) - [Flavored Supplement Strips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nustrips.md) - [Dissolving Vitamin Strips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vitamin-strips.md) - [Nutritional Supplement Delivery Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nutritional-supplement-delivery.md) - [Neutral Flavor Supplement Sachets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unconform-smart-sticks.md) - [Oral Supplement Strips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oral-supplement-strips.md) - [Pod-Based Supplements](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/superblends-by-blueshift.md) - [Convenience-Focused Nutritional Powders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nutritional-powders.md)
